What editions are available?

Townfall launched September 24, 2026 in two editions on PlayStation 5, Steam and Epic:

The $10 step buys cosmetics only — no extra areas, modes or story. If the artbook, soundtrack and outfit are not things you’d open, buy Standard.

What were the preorder bonuses?

Separate from the Deluxe contents, launch-window buyers could claim conditional bonuses:

• CRTV Style: Rusted — a cosmetic skin for the CRTV, offered as a limited-time early-purchase bonus.
• CRTV Style: Beach Edition — a second cosmetic CRTV skin, listed as a PS5 preorder bonus.
• 48-hour early access — the Deluxe edition’s launch-window benefit: buying Deluxe let you start two days before the September 24 release. That window has now passed.

Treat those as expired entitlements rather than things included in either edition today — Konami’s store listings don’t promise them post-launch, so check the current listing before assuming they’re still attached.

Is there a physical edition?

Yes, on PS5 only. Konami documented physical preorders for PlayStation 5, while PC is digital-only and the Deluxe edition is digital-only. Some retailers labeled stock “Day One” editions — that’s a retailer bundle name, not an official third edition, and limited physical bonuses like steelbooks varied by retailer.

What platforms is Townfall on?

No PS4, Xbox or Switch version at launch, and no PS Plus requirement for the single-player game.

What is The Dock House?

Not an edition item — a common point of confusion. The Dock House is a separate official companion comic published in 2000 AD Prog 2500: a standalone prequel about Douglas, a St. Amelia harbor master. It’s not bundled into Deluxe and isn’t required reading for Simon’s story — the story-explained page has the spoiler context if you want it.
