FAQ

What is Shorefront District South in Silent Hill: Townfall?
The playable town area covering Parts 1 and 2 — Simon's arrival point on the pier, the Town Square, the Haldane Hotel, the family clinic, the pharmacy and the residential streets with Zoe's house and the Community Gardens.
Where is the pistol in Silent Hill: Townfall?
The pistol is found in Town Square during Part 2 (Zoe). It is the game's first firearm — grab it before the district closes, because Shorefront cannot be revisited later in the run.
Can you return to Shorefront later in the game?
No. Like every area in Townfall, Shorefront closes once the story advances. Sweep the clinic, pharmacy and houses before triggering the route to the Medical Centre.

What is Shorefront District South?

Shorefront is where Townfall spends its first two Parts — a fog-drowned strip of St. Amelia’s seafront that functions as the game’s one explorable town hub. Simon washes up by the pier carrying nothing, and the district’s loop of landmarks — clinic, pharmacy, hotel, houses — is where the game teaches its sweep-before-advancing rhythm. The district map arrives automatically as the opening route reaches Town Square; the full pickup list is on the map & locations hub.

What are the key places inside Shorefront?

Place Why it matters
The pier Simon’s starting point — he wakes in the water here, and the prologue’s red-fog route leads inland from it
Town Square The district’s centre, dominated by a protest monument plastered with signs; the “Richard’s Gift” crate here holds the pistol in Part 2
Haldane Hotel The Otherworld hotel of Chapter 2 — the door wheel opens on 18 / January / 1996, revealing the bathroom with the Room 204 Key
Shorefront Family Clinic Entered with Zoe’s Lanyard on the door pad; inside, the reception keypad is 2896, the scales puzzle sits in Z Ellis’s room, and the Empty IV Bag + IV Fluid combine into a one-shot revive
St. Amelia Pharmacy The Scalpel opens its door; the rusty rear locker opens with 6539 in the order channel 30’s broadcast gives — see the pharmacy code guide
Zoe’s house Kitchen’s Human Organ Box — left 9-5-6, right 1-3-3 — grants Zoe’s Lanyard; details in the organ box guide
Jess’s house Shorefront South route stop — the Broken Stethoscope for the scales, plus the Lockbox Key
Community Gardens Zoe’s rounds pass through in Part 2 — Jane Chalmers’s shed opens with 1993

What should you grab before Shorefront closes?

The district punishes anyone who rushes the story trigger. In rough order:

  1. The CRTV — the pocket TV is picked up during Part 1 and is the game’s core detection tool; the CRTV guide covers its signals.
  2. The IV bag pair — Empty IV Bag plus IV Fluid inside the clinic combines into a revive-once item; the best early survival upgrade in the game.
  3. The pistol — Town Square, during Part 2.
  4. Every document — Shorefront carries a dense slice of the 85 Clues & Documents that feed your ending. The Part 1 and Part 2 walkthroughs sweep them in route order.

Once the story sends Simon toward the Medical Centre, Shorefront is gone for that run — check your document count before you cross.
