FAQ

What is CEG in Silent Hill: Townfall?
The Chapman Energy Group — the corporation whose industrial disaster and cover-up drive Townfall's story. Its HQ tower is the game's late-game location, explored across Parts 5 and 6.
What is the SWDP facility in Townfall?
The seawater desalination plant — the endgame area of Part 6. Its consoles take a sequence of named valve, filter and door commands ending in the clamp release.
How many map sheets does CEG HQ have?
Six, per release-week walkthroughs — the ground-floor sheet sits behind the lobby reception desk, and later-floor maps are collected near the stairs and a body on Richard's route.

What is CEG HQ?

The Chapman Energy Group headquarters is the tower the whole story has been circling — the corporate heart of St. Amelia’s disaster, and the most vertical location in the game. It anchors Part 5 (Richard) and carries into Part 6 (Simon). With six map sheets across its floors, it is the densest navigable space in Townfall; the ground-floor map waits behind the lobby reception desk, and later sheets are found near the stairs on Richard’s route.

What is on each floor?

Floor What’s there
Ground floor Lobby, reception map, first-floor storeroom (4512)
2F Second-floor storage (1306)
3F Finance room (2709) and the CFO lens; third-floor records (1607)
4F Media — the projector bulb
5F The Boardroom — the centre of Richard’s set piece
10F The office — reaching it earns Find Yourself

The supporting codes include the security room (4895), Richard’s box 36 (486) and the employee ID 00007820518. Richard’s playable section routes through powering the exterior lift, collecting projector components and matching slides to the agenda — the step-by-step is in the Part 5 walkthrough, and every code’s clue source is cross-referenced on the locker & code directory.

What is the SWDP facility?

SWDP is where the cover-up physically happened — the industrial plant at the end of the line, reached in Part 6 after the tower. Its story weight is the reason the place exists in the fiction: the disaster Simon has been chasing was made here. Mechanically it is the game’s final gauntlet, played partly in its SWDP (Different) Otherworld layout (map granted automatically on entry): a command console takes a route of named commands — Valve B 254, Filter A 103, Aux B 246, Regulator 781, door 592, clamp connection D71 — with the AUX Key locker at 0825 in between. Finishing the ROC and Clamp Release steps despawns the area’s enemies. The full input order is walked through in the Part 6 walkthrough.

How do CEG HQ and SWDP tie into the endings?

Two beats matter. First, exhausting every option in the Alternate Facility earns Can’t Change Things — a story trophy you cannot miss on a full run. Second, the finale is where your Discoveries-versus-Kills tally is cashed into an ending — and where the Chapter 15 red-crank manual save turns the remaining endings into reloads instead of replays. The Weight waits in Chapter 16 “Eraser”; its encounter rules are on the Weight’s page.
