How do you get the Dog and Sci-fi endings?

Both are New Game+ only: Dog needs three hidden coins fed to a charity dog statue; Sci-fi needs three Strange Books and the Strange Keycard from the hotel symbol puzzle.

What does New Game+ unlock?

Finishing the story once opens a second run with real additions, not just a carried-over inventory:

Axe — an NG+-exclusive melee weapon with its own trophy, “Here’s Simon!”.
Pistol-3000 — an upgraded firearm tied to the “Future Hardware” trophy, earned through the Sci-fi ending route.
Reliving A Nightmare — a trophy for playing through in NG+.
Two bonus endings — Dog and Sci-fi, both impossible on a first run because their key items only spawn in NG+.

How do the NG+ endings work?

Dog ending — find three coins that only appear in NG+ (Bronze behind Video Star, Silver in a Clara Woods backyard, Gold in SWDP Room 793) and feed them to the Guide Dogs for the Blind collection dog.

Sci-fi ending — collect Strange Books #1–3 and the Strange Keycard from the hotel symbol puzzle. Triggering it early skips the final boss and hands you the Pistol-3000.

Should your second run be a speedrun?

It pairs well. If you finished the story once and know the chapter route, an NG+ run is the natural place to attempt Fleeting Visit (finish under 4 hours) — or to deliberately invert your Discoveries/Kills balance for a different ending.
