Who is Zoe?

Zoe is Simon Ordell’s significant other — the person Simon is searching for in St. Amelia. Her importance is structural as much as emotional: Part 2 of the game is named “Zoe”, covering chapters 5–6, and her absence is the engine of the early story.

What exactly happened to her — and how much of her presence in St. Amelia is memory, guilt or the town’s invention — is the question the plot guards most closely. Screen Burn has described Townfall as a self-contained story about guilt and consequence, and Zoe sits at the center of Simon’s version of both.
