Richard — Silent Hill: Townfall Character Guide

Who is Richard?

Richard is the reason Simon Ordell is in St. Amelia at all — he is the one who called Simon back to “put things right”. Whatever he knows about the town’s collapse — the union unrest and the corporate CEG’s grip — he is not a neutral guide, and Part 5 of the story carries his name and puts him in your hands: the CEG HQ climb through the generator, the tower’s floors and the boardroom projector is his playable section.

Who plays Richard?

Richard is voiced by Terry O’Quinn, the highest-profile name in the cast reveal at gamescom Opening Night Live 2026.

Richard and the save system

One of the game’s strangest trophies is tied to him: Reject The Help requires you to refuse telephone saving after meeting Richard — a hint that his guidance is not meant to be trusted. Whether you take the hint is up to you; the trophy roadmap flags it as missable.
